Fun in the Sun

Justin watched, and grimaced. "Where do you honestly think you're going with any of this?" He asked, his tone shining through. "Literally, when people try to help, you just walk away. And you've never stood up to your brother, and you're just being plain idotic!" He yelled, not going after her. He turned around, and headed home.

Isobella walked over to him and grabbed his arm, turning him around. "I have stood up to my brother, and this is what I get for it," she said, showing the bruise thatr was worse, and several bruises on her side that looked really bad.

He jerked out of her grasp, and growled. "Get that taken care of. Not by me." He said, and kept walking.

Isobella turned and walked toward her house,"Fifteen miles to go," she sighed. Looking up at the sun she realized how hot it was. She took her jacket off and kept walking tward her house.

Justin collapsed on his front lawn, staring down. He yawned slightly, but didn't regret anything.

Isobella stopped and curled up under a tree as the sun set," Looks like I'm sleeping here tonight" she said, using her jacket as a blanket. SIghing, she looked around. SHe was horrifed of the dark....."Atleast I have my cell phone." she said.

Justin yawned slightly, his eyes shutting. He layed there, and sighed gently.

She couldn't sleep that night. WHen morning came she yawned and started walking. By noon, she had to ten more miles and it was raining. It was a long walk. She sighed and looked around as she walked down the side of the road. She sighed as it thundered and lightning and rain came down. SHe was soaked, freezing, and she knew she would probably be sick.

Justin had almost slept until noon, the rain waking him up once it started to get heavy. He headed into the house, flopping on the couch, digging his face into a pillow.

As Isobella walked down the road, she saw her brother's car. He jumped out and looked at her. He walked over and the last thing she remembered was him pushing her to the groung and kicking her in the sides. When she woke up the police where dropping her of at her house and she walked in. Her shirt had a little bit of blood on it and she could barely move. She collapsed on the couch and took out her cell phone, calling Justin. Sighing, she waited.

Justin heard his phone ringing and grumbled, sitting up. He headed for the phone, picking it up. "Hello?" He asked simply, looking down.

"Justin.....can you come over.....hurry," was all she could manage before she dropped the phone and groaned. She was too sore to move and couldn't grab it.

Justin's heart skipped a beat, and he slammed the phone down. Something was wrong, he could tell. He almost ran to her house, stopping at the door, and opening it. "Isobella?" He called, glancing around.

Isobella managed a small groan, but that was it. She rolled over on the couch and put her hand on her head. When she looked at her hand, she saw a spot of blood on her hand. She let out a yell of pain and then rolled over again.

Justin skipped over, and lifted her head gently, placing it back on his leg gently, not caring about the blood. He kissed her forehead gently, his eyes scanning her. "What's wrong?" He asked quietly, nervously.

"my brother......" she mumbled, looking at him. "I'm sorry," she whispered, sighing and looked at him.

"I don't care." Justin sighed, pulling her into his arms. "Are you okay?" He asked quietly

"not really," she whispered soflty. She moved up against him and put her hand on her head and closing her eyes.

Justin sighed, and kept his cheek sitting on the top of her head, pulling her closer and closer. "Its okay." He sighed.

Isobella looked at him,"I can hardly move," she mumbled, putting her arms around him.

Justin nodded slowly. "I know. Then I'll take you to the hospital." He responded, nodding and smirking.

Isobella looked at him, "Ok," she said, starting to stand up, but falling over back on the couch. She looked at him,"i can't stand up really well," she said, groaning.

Justin hugged her close. "Just wait. It'll pass, and you'll be fine soon enough." He whispered, and kissed the top of her head. "I promise you'll be okay.Any worse, I can call somebody." He said quietly.

Isobella layed down on the couch and put her head on his legs. She looked up at him and held his hand.

Justin was tempted to play with her, and bump her head, but didn't. He looked down at her, and sighed. He twisted their fingers together, and made a low noise.
